My name is Matthew Netardus and I am currently a Life Scout in quest for his Eagle Scout award. I am in the process of working on my Eagle Project, but have come across a list of items that I am in need of before I begin work. I am renovating a current memorial on Dam Neck Naval Base that remembers the sailors who died on a gun turret explosion on the battleship Iowa. During this project I am not only cleaning the grounds inside the memorial, I am also removing 2 dead trees and a stump, planting 2 new trees, creating a new white rock walkway, trimming the trees, sandblasting the surrounding chain, and replacing the 47 wooden stakes that surround the memorial. All of this work will take a lot of time, but the hardest part to this project would be to procure all of the necessary materials needed to begin work. I have a short list of materials that will be needed to begin work on this project, and I was wondering if your store wouldn’t mind perhaps giving the Boy Scouts of America a possible discount or donation for some of the items needed. All donations and price reductions are tax deductible and they go to a good cause, renovating a memorial remembering those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of this nation and the people within it.
