I was watching the end of the most recent episode of Bridezillas on the WE channel and was kind of amazed. A women was left at the alter by her fiance and when he called and apologized she forgave him then married him. Basically they left the area and eloped in Las Vegas.
I understand that he was feeling overwhelmed by the woman's family who were kind of pushing over the edge but you need to understand that all people come with a family. What I believe was the worst thing was that the woman picked the man that humiliated her rather that stick with her daughter and rest of her family. In the end your family are always going to be a part you and even if you run away from them the same blood runs through your veins. In the future I don't see their marriage lasting because if you didn't want to get married with the family around then what will THanksgiving be like.

A family shouldn't control your decisions or life. You said the family was pushing too hard. It sounds like she took the guilt of her family into account. She should have. Just because someone is family doesn't make them right or mean you have to stand beside them when they're acting like jackasses. Being family doesn't give you a free pass to run another's life.
