I am so confused!!!! Seriously ...
So, the thing is ... I have this friend okay? I just recently met him at school like a few months ago. he's about 5 years older than me. And although we just met and haven't known each other for too long ... I must say he's grown to become one of my best guy friends.
He and I have been constantly talking to each other ... at school, over myspace, msn, and over the phone. And .. he's usually the one to start all the conversations between us.
So, from my point of view and my friends points of view it seemed like he sort of liked me. However, I had always denied it .. because all my guy friends have always treated me the same--like a little sister .. yet sometimes flirty with me at times. But, I don't know ... for some reason, with him it's a little different.
He treats me the same as how my other guy friends have treated me .. yet once in a while I would notice that when he sits next to me .. he like tries to sit closer or like he like slides his arm closer to me like he's about to put his arm around me or something.
Yeah!!! .. at this point ... it may seem as if he likes me .. YES! that's exactly what I thought!!
BUT!!!!!! ... There's more!! .... more that will I think confuse you all also! ..
So, after a few weeks of knowing me .. I introduced him to my friend who is a year younger than I am. Now, he already sort of knew her ... cause although she was still in high school .. she was doing "Running Start", which is a program where high school juniors and seniors (if they have enough credits to graduate already) can go ahead and take college courses and the credit(s) will count as both a high school credit and a college credit. Well, yeah .. she and I are members of the Japanese Club on campus and so is he .. so that's how he knew the both of us ... but, never really "knew us". u get it?? like .. he knew we were part of the club ... but, never knew our names and who we were.
Anyway, so .. yeah .. after he met her ... he thought and still does think that she is cute. now... as he started to flirt with her ... he also continued to act the same around me. Now, I'm not saying I'm jealous or anything ... cause I'm not!!! The other girl is my BEST FRIEND and we've known each other since we were in diapers .. and I would be happy if they ended up together cause honestly I kinda like someone else .. but, it's just that the more I get to know this guy .. the more I like him.
But, yeah .. like I even asked him if he likes my friend. he told me he doesn't and that he just thinks she is cute. So, I was like .. would u date her then? and he said .. no. Now, my friend did the same ... now it was kind of planned out this way so we could find out what he thought of the two of us. She had asked him the day after I talked to him if he liked me ... he said no ... but, he thought I was cute. and that he thought I liked him cause I'm always calling him and texting him. but, what a fricken liar!!!! because ... the truth is .... HE is the one that is CALLING AND TEXTING me!!!!! that pissed me off when she told me what he said. seriously!!!
Now .. the thing that is CONFUSING me is ... of course that ^^^^^^^ what i said above. BUT! ... also ...
When he's around the both of us together ...me and my friend ... he only pays attention to her and flirts with her. and he doesn't pay attention to me at all .. unless i talk to him or something. Like for example, last night.... we all went to the movies okay? ... she and i invited our friend nikki and he invited a friend too. and although we were all talking to each other ... and nothing was awkward... he only payed attention to HER. even after the movie when he invited the three of us to go see another movie with them sometime ... he was only looking at her. BUT! ... when it's just the two of us by ourselves talking or me with HIS friends ... it's different!! very different!!!!!! like ... he flirts with me sometimes and what not .. and that is what confuses me! I don't know whether he likes my friend and he's just telling ME he doesn't like her ... or if he likes me and just telling MY FRIEND that he doesn't like me. WTF!!!!!

i think your guy friend is a player. i think he wants to pla both fields. But on the other hand he might like your friend more though, because why would he pay more attention to her? i think both of you need to find anotehr guy, cause that guy is trouble and it might start something between your friendship.
i might be wrong but that guy is trouble. And did you notice how he wasl ie knoo i thik she likes me, i'd be pissed too. lol dont know i m just saying!
well, about him being a player? ..i would have to disagree with u on that ... sorry. cause i know for a fact that he is not a player! ... but, i see why you'd think that.
and yeah .. i think he likes my friend more too. no doubt about that!!! In fact, I would somewhat prefer that ... because I never really liked him as more than a friend in the first place. And ... I like our friendship the way it is now and would hate to ruin that by going out with him. you know what I mean??
as far as another guy goes ... don't worry about that. Like I said in my blog .. I actually like someone else anyway. In fact, that someone just so happens to be his best friend. HAHAHAHA!!!! and I think his friend kinda liked me too ... but, we never got a chance to figure things out cause he left to go to UH Manoa. But, it's ok ... I'll be going there probably next fall and we'll see what happens.

You know him way better then i do, so i really hope you are right. I guess go fo his best friend if you like him...
