Hi Howlett here. I just have to get this off my chest. On the 10-15 min. walk back to my dorm from my car, i saw three of the most horriffic specimins of littering i have ever seen. Two garbage bags full of just ordinary garbage, not anything illegal like alcohol or a dismembered body, but lik pepsi bottles, bandaids and the likes. The third was the most disgusting looking hoodie i haver ever seen. Do your damn laundry. That's just fuckin lazy.
What the hell you lazy asses. Throw away your shit. How would you like it if i took my garbage and emptied it on your lawn. First it is just irresponsible. Whay do you need to litter. It just fucks the planet, so throw it away. Animals choke, the garbage pollute this once majestic nation of wildreness. We are to blame. You've seen the seventies era commercial with the crying Indian. They didnt do it Our ancestors and ourselves are to blame.
Second people have to pick that up. You used it, throw it away. Your in college you shmuck, mommy's not here. Your an adult now, what are you going to do in your first house, throw your shit on the floor. If you want to live like a pig, wollowing in your own filth, be my guest, its your perogative. Please just dont bring people who like to live on a clean planet down with you. Selah.

Yeah, I've got to say, that's pretty disgusting. I myself am a RA in the residence halls at my university and people are... disgusting, to say the least. Let me guess, you were within 15 feet of a dumpster, too, right?
It does not matter whether you throw garbage on the ground or in the trash can. Either way its still polluting the earth. Whats the difference between throwing trash on the ground and putting it in a hole in the earth?
Now why should he change because of what you like or dislike? Why won't you change to what he likes or dislikes? Its a thing called compromising. You should learn how to use it. And stop whining about things. It's the real world, no ones gonna go out of their way to please you.
First, littering is illegal. Second, the litter could be replaced in a recycling bin or dumpster to maintain the appearance of the area and to keep the garbage in one place instead of flying around. I don't think a compromise is the answer here. What would it be? Throw the trash halfway between the dumpster and the person's exact location?

It certainly matters. Why should i comprimise with people who have no regard for not only the enviroment, but also the common courtesy of being clean and respecting the people who are kind enough to offer dorms to you. That is not required but they do it to make life easier. Should we return the favor. And how can you say it does not matter if it is in a trash can? If it is in a trash can it can be collected and properly disposed of or recycled. Recycling does make a difference but it wont work if people dont, oh what was the word, compromise. thanks
You missed the whole point I was trying to pass with the trash can comment. You used saving the enviroment as part of your argument and I just merely pointed out that even though it is put in the trash can it is still placed in a dump in which it pollutes the Earth. And while we are on the subject. Do you drive a eco-efficient car? Are you going to go out and save the redwoods? Or how about protest in the middle of the woods where hunters are hunting?
You need to realize that when it comes to pollution the majority is not going to change. It is pointless to complain about things like this because you are just going to get a deaf ear. People as beings are ignorant and stuck in their ways.
Taking a stand for any cause is not pointless. The whole goal of activism is to educate ignorant people. Apparently it worked, or there would be no activists.

i know. But if we can get enough people to bitch we might have a chance. I will bitch till i am blue in the face. even if i change but one person's opinion, i have made a difference.
I do drive an efficeint car, am involved in animal rights and support only pollitical candidates i agree with (meaning that pretty much all are eco-friendly) I also have been involed in petitions to save forrests and animals and people for that matter
With me being a hunter it is quite contradictory that I support the enviroment. But I've given up on trying to get others to help with the cause so I just pull my own weight. More or less all this is out of frustration.
Well thats a start. I have no problems with hunters, i have hunted myself. I dislike poaching and harming the enviroment, but i welcome the fact that you support the enviroment, every little bit helps.
