One of the hardest things in life knows that you’re doing something for the last time. The last time you walk the halls of your high school, the last time you sleep in your room before you move to a new house, the last time you walk somewhere you may never go again. Its so hard because you have memories there. That memory, that event, has made you who you are today. you know that through the years, that memory will fade. So you cherish that last time, because its something you will never experience again. And youll never feel that way again.
You walk down that sidewalk for the last time, a little more slowly than usual. You can walk it with your eyes closed, you've been there so many times. But you want to take it in. The way the air smells, the feeling of your feet hitting the pavement. The way you used to feel walking down that sidewalk... the only chance you have left to take it in is now.
Many associate the word "last" with the worst, also as to be goodbyes... maybe because its kind of an ending to an ending. Goodbye implies that youre going to be separated from that person for some time, maybe a few minutes or maybe forever. So in knowing that youre saying your last goodbye... you think about your memories with that person like you do your memories on that sidewalk. You remember how that person has made you who you are today. And you draw out that goodbye as long as you can, because you want to remember how he or she laughs and talks, the way it felt to be around that person's company. The way you used to feel when you were with that person.
But even decades later, the memory that is clearest is the way that tears slowly crawl down your cheek.

shut up, ive read other blogs that aren't debatable too. let this writer express themselves.
I could understand what this blog is saying, but sometimes its okay that you're leaving memories behind because if you're graduating high school and leaving a favorite teacher behind, then after you get into college maybe you'll find a new favorite teacher that's almost just like your favorite teacher from high school because that's happened to me.
So true...
Lasts aren't bad
They may be an end to something
But it also means a new begining.
