I got fired for doing the things the person that fired me does???

Ok, so I got fired today for really stupid things. I sighed too much. I checked the internet when every other worker does it as well. I made a few MINOR mistakes like writing cards the way one of the workers told me. I am so pissed off I may not be able to go to college anymore because I now have a bad reputation for sighing too much. I mean, what kind of a bitch do you have to be to give someone all poors, with the exception of like two or three fairs, on my report. That report just happens to go to the financial aid of my freaking school. I got fired for sighing too much. No body else got fired for checking their facebook. The bitch did not fire herself. I mean, she checked her freaking facebook. I saw her do it! I was a good worker with a couple of mistakes. Yea, like she does not make mistakes. One of the freaking workers erased almost all of the donation information off of the damn computer and she did not get fired. I think that this was a predudice againt me. I do not know what the bitch has against me but I really just want to knock her two front teeth out. And do not say to me that I am supposed to act christain about it! Everybody has flaws and anger is definatly one of mine. Not that I am already going through a whole lot already! I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GO TO COLLEGE ANYMORE!!! Of course I am pissed off! That bitch may have ruined my life! P.S. I am sorry for all of the vulgar language! Please leave me a comment saying whether you agree with me or not.

That is bullshit. I cuss so don't worry about it unless someone says something to you.

The sad truth is that managers can do what they please because they are above you. I think it isn't right but that is ust how it works. it sounds like favortism is going on at your old job, this goes on at alot of jobs. If you kiss ass then you will be good with management.

You can still go to college don't give up. I know it is hard but try to find another job. I have been looking because i have only being getting like 8 hours a week. Keep trying it will work out. Stay positive. I know it is hard but just try. it will work out.

I agree though it was a lame excuse but like I said before I believe it is favortism. You must have not kissed enough ass. which I don't believe you should do anyway to be good with management. But keep your head up you will find something else. :)

This won't ruin your chances of getting another job, I am sure your future employers will be sympathetic if it was a matter of you being graded too harshly, especially if your only flaw is that you sigh too much. I certainly understand why you are upset about that. It sounds as though there might be something more to why you were fired that they might not be telling you.

As for the facebook, there is a double standard. For example, some employers swear, but the employee could get in a lot of trouble for it. Basically, your boss's job is much more stable than yours. It's not fair, but there really isn't much you can do about it, except not make the same mistake again. Your chances in College certainly isn't over.

Good luck finding a new job.

I can't get a job on campus is what I mean. I can get one off of campus, though. Thanks for the encouraging words!

In my experience, off campus jobs pay better anyway.

Remember in the business world, you do as the boss says, not as she does. I know and completely understand how you feel. The same has happened to me. When it comes to management, it's a dictatorship and fairness isn't always present.
