trite hours of the night.

going through my desk, i noticed a notebook i had not packed for college. my mother must have hidden it for me in my desk, execting me to clean before midterms, i guess. but anyways, it cntains some poetry that i have the humility to think is fairly moderately decently okey. and i have nothing else to blog about right now. so here goes...

Tired of Shutting up?

Well then Poetry is for You!

Free-form, structured

Say what you mean or not

express or depress

the deepest fears and fervent fires

the anger and the pain that languish in vain-

the next John Donne lies in wait.

The ceiling fan circles and

the howling alarm clock calls you

up and into bed, to write until

the trite hours of the night

Rhythm or not, it doesn't matter

anguish expresses anyways- or not

it is what it's made of and

hearby decree-

what it's made of is me.

.hope you like it. if not- your problem, not mine. ah well. night then, loves.

Dear "Voltaire",

I must say I'm quite possessed by your writing. The first thing that struck me was your name, then I went to read all of your blogs--and I love your style. Love it. Also, your poetry is actually good. I see too much bad poetry here. It flows naturally, and I can see that, immediately. I don't know how to explain it, but you just have that right touch.

I might sound flattering, but I swear it's true! I'm adding you; I want to keep up with more of your posts.

Actually, yes, I am the progressive police.
Are people not reading your blogs?
