ProgressiveU responds amazingly well to feed back!

WOW! I was part of the last competition and am sorry to say that shortly after the competition ended I stopped visiting the site. Before I left the site I left some comments about what could be improved on the site, as did many others, and I am amazed at how many of those ideas were actually listened to and put into use.

Normaly, as far as my experiences have gone, customer opinions are disregarded as long as there are not too many complaints about the same thing. But it seems that ProgressiveU sticks by its name. I find that the site has been greatly improved in the last couple of months. It looks great. I plan to join the next constest, unfortunately I was too busy trying to get into colleges the last month to put enough time aside to contribute to the site ( finally I found my college, Brown!) but coming back to the site and seeing all the improvements is very encouraging.

I wish all the competitors luck and, being a winner from the last contest, I offer some advise. Write about what you beilieve in and you will draw readers to you. Also from a more strategical view point, watch out for the last week there tends to be people who seem to do nothing but write blogs the whole week.

I am glad to see all the changes on the site and hope that it will draw more bloggers into the community.

Well, what kind of changes did you recommend? I'm not sure if I noticed anything different.

Congrats on deciding on Brown! May you find your direction there! ::smiles::

I don't know which of the improvements that Colin gave, but as a whole, ProU now allows for the rating of posts, which favors more quality (the assumption that better posts will get noticed, because they'll be rated higher). Also, only people who haven't won past contests can win (which was a bit complaint at the end of the last contest). I can't remember off the top of my head what other improvements have been made, but they're working on it.

Ello there, blogger

I myself have found this blogging forum very receptive --> though I still feel the sense of competition, it really does seem like a very good community :)
