Something Simple
How does the mind work?
It is unreasonable, short-tempered, irrational, ignorant, and dull but yet
It is smart, quick, endless, wise, ever-changing, and unknown
So it is definitely a strange....... um....... thing
Which should be taken into consideration
Since we use it . . . a lot
Downward and downward thus we fall into our own minds
Plummeting through thoughts, ideas, and dreams
But I say you better fall with a rope by you
For no matter how long or deep you fall
You shall never reach the bottom
Eternities will have passed till you have realized its true depth
Thus the mind is a vast endless void
And yet it is also a maze or lock
You can't reach the exit of the maze
And you can't pick the lock
This way the mind is truly wondrous
Just imagine something that neverends or begins
Than imagine everything in the world
Finally imagine space
Then do you actually begin to comprehend the eternity in your mind
This poem has but one simple purpose
------ For you to realize the blessing that is your mind
And never forget what you are truly capable of

Complex, uncertain, charged by the power of emotions. The mind is mysterious, it can make you see things that aren't there, or make you see nothing at all. But everyone is their own, and yet we're all the same. Diversity within unity.
And this same progeny of evils comes from our debate, from our dissension; We are their parents and original. -- A Midsummer Night's Dream Act II, Scene I, Lines 115-117
