Ok, just moved into an apartment with 2 random roommates. Neither are here often. One won't talk to me at all and will go out of her way to ignore me. The other is nice, if its just us talking.
So, Saturday night before classes start. I've been up since 8 am because of a meeting...I fell asleep around 1030 pmish.
So at about midnight, I get woken up by like 5-10 SCREAMING, DRUNK-ASS KIDS! Like, yelling, juping up and down, running down the hallway outside and ramming into our front door...
IT'S AN APARTMENT COMPLEX! there are at least 12 other people in this building. I know it's college, I know classes haven't started, but why do people not have any respect for anyone?!?!?
Of course, my room is on the first floor of the apartment, right next to the kitchen/living room.
And the apartment is on the 2nd floor, so everyone below can hear all the noise too, I am sure.
I can't even ask them to stop because 1. the ringleader (my roomate) hates me. and 2. they are all a nice shade of drunk. I don't mind people who drink. I dont care if people party, i just don't want all these loud ass people in my apt every night.
Oh, no point in moving...$200 IS there's a place to move, plus I have to move all my own stuff alone ><....
It sounds like you got into a bad situation. This is why I could never live with roommates that I didn't previously know. I like peace and quiet, and I would also be worried about spills, broken things, etc.
