i was just thinking to myself, about a month ago; "what is the point of planets, they can't just be there for nothing" and i got really into astrology, and studied my sign, Scorpio, for about a MONTH. i got really into it, and the more i read, the more i realized that it was all true for me. i did have SOME doubt though, so i studied up on another sign, to see if the rumors were true that they just put things in that fit for everyone; but it was nothing like me at all.
just asking for comments on this; do you think that the planets have no purpose? that they are there for reasons that correspond with our subconscious mind, and actually effect us, as the moon pulls on and effects the ocean? or that they are only there to balance out our galaxy so that we don't fall towards the sun's gravitational pull? or all of those?
Also, what do you think will happen in some- 5 billion years, when the universe collapses itself and the sun explodes? hoe do you think- if humans are still around by then, we will survive it? if we even choose so?
i myself think it would be nearly impossible with the technology we have now, but we will be so advanced in 5 billion years that anything will be possible, to a sense.
but will that be right? will we strip ourselves of morals for science? because we are about a decade away from being able to clone people, and 'grow' them,. so what other things could we possibly stretch ourselves to?
i'd really like to hear what you have to say on both topics, leave a comment.

I don't think anything natural has a purpose, it just exists. It happens to be there, and its purpose is assigned by us. They're just the rest of the matter that blew up in the big bang. They can't support too much in the area of life simply because of location.
