Could it be true? Is it possible? What would this mean?
These are the questions coming to the minds of some Democrats after somebody finally figured out that if Hillary Clinton were to become President of the United States, her unexpired Senate seat would need to be filled by another New Yorker at the appointment of the governor. Could that be her husband and former President, William Jefferson Clinton?
If Hillary wins, someone will need to fill her seat until her term was up. Bill Clinton, according to many prominent Democrats could be an excellent senator. He excelled as attorney general and governor of Arkansas and as a two-term President. There is no more qualified candidate for Senate and it's entirely possible given the longing America has for the glory days of the Clinton Administration when the working poor had more money in their pockets.
I'm anxious to know what New Yorkers think about replacing Hillary with Bill.
Conan O'Brien made a great joke tonight in which he said that when Bill was asked about the possiblity of replacing Hillary as a senator from New York, Bill said, "I dream of replacing Hillary every day."
