E. coli fear spreads to lettuce.

The fear of E. Coli has spread to lettuce and cause recalls of several kinds of lettuce.  This is happening just one week after the Food and Drug Administration lifted its warning on spinach.  So far they have not found E. Coli in the lettuce recalled.  They probably will not find any and nobody has reported sickness related to any of the products recalled.

It seems that this recall may have been for no reason and it will severely affect the selling of lettuce.  People are so scared by the E. Coli that was found in the spinach that they will stop eating lettuce if they even hear a roomer about lettuce being contaminated.  it seems that they should not recall a product until they are sure there is a problem because if there ends up not being a problem it still hurts the farmers and the hurt will last for a long time.

They've also recalled thousands of pounds of ground beef in 7 states. And there is a warning out on bottled carrot juice. They performed a water test on the lettuce and there is some form of E.Coli on it, they just don't know if it's the bad kind or what. I would personall rather be extra cautious than sorry!
