During my 3 years of high school, I have been immensely disappointed at the ease of my school. Achieving a a solid A GPA, and other activities in school, I thought to myself, is high school suppose to be this easy? Am I prepared for College?
Everyone i knew in middle school told me "High school is very tough, if you barely get through it, your going to have a real tough time in college." And now that I look back, this is tough? Or am I just not challenged? How is this suppose to prepare me for college when even the AP classes are a breeze? And trust me, I've already taken physics, AP English, and the bucket load of classes to "impress" the admission officers. Being as it is now, class of 2009 will be the largest graduation year in the U.S. with 3.2 million high schoolers graduating. If the challenge of high school, and academic ordeal is not what is puts forth to be, will I be prepared to handle the real life of college? and be removed from sheltered life of high school?
How will the process and fighting of getting accepted to a college/university change if students, or students at my school to be specific, deal with the hardships?
High school has really been a let down, I am not challenged nor interested in anything but English, but even AP English is a breeze. Is there something wrong here? Are the teachers doing a bad job? Is my school ghetto? Am I being an "over-achiever?"

If you want more work then join a team. That will get you SUPER tired when you get home, Writting papers are not as easy when you work out everyday and get home at 6pm.
I'm in the tennis team as well as work for my family business in the restaurant category. But I am not feeling the challenge as High School is stooped up to be. Though, I do agree that tennis gets me extremely tired, but that does not counteract the fact that high school is still an easy gauntlet to win.
Find something to challenge yourself. A friend of mine wasn't happy with how the music program was going, so he heaped a bunch of new work on himself: Learning a new instrument, trying more difficult music, etc. Maybe you can find something similar for yourself.
