Dance, Dance, Dance
Across the rug I glided
My body curved, spun and swerved
Shapes I never knew I could do
I kicked out, and I kept on going on my moves!
Dance, Dance, Dance
My body shook every which way
Shaking like Jello in a bowl
Just simply letting myself go...
To my moves, I quickly continued.
Dance, Dance, Dance
Letting the music guide me.
The slower the beat, the more poetic my feet.
The bigger the groove, the more I gave attitude.
All through the songs my feet would carry me!
Dance, Dance, Dance
All night and day, I'll always play
You'll be seeing me, sway my body left and right
Boy, oh boy, I truly love to dance!
-- I know it may not be that good but I wrote it at a young age, I love it all the same =-]

for a beginner, it's good. Keep writing, living, and learning. You'll bloom. Trust me, it takes time and a lot of poems. There will be amazing ones, and horrible ones. Then ones in the middle. It's an art, and a taste that must be acquired. But this was good. I encourage you, keep writing. Seriously. Even if you find it's not for you, at least you have the skill.
