I think it is about time a black man was able to run for president and get as far as he is. I mean I think it is wonderful that just maybe one of us will get into office. A friend of mine said that she wants to vote for him but is afraid that if he wins we will have a repeat of the Martin Luther King situation. As many of you know he was a powerful black man who was killed by a white man. He was gaining to much control. She was saying that she feels as if someone may assasinate him. I totally understood what she was talking about. I had already begun to think about that. I was really concerned but I feel that maybe we are further than that as a nation. I mean I think we are so ready.
I mean if he wins the nation I personally begin will be so much better. Anyone is better than what we have right now. Shoot Hillary can win right about now. I hear alot of comedians say if we get a black president he gone be in the white house smoking weed. Even though its a joke I wonder do some people feel that if he wins the world will be in turmoil. I dont think so I am ready for a black president we need a change.
If he wins I feel like my unborn children will be able to see the good we really can do. I am so excited about this election. Even being a woman is exciting. I mean a woman has the chance of winning.
