So, our country has the means to take on any other country in this world. Russia, Iran, Iraq, China, North Korea, you name them. I don't know, it seems like our economy and foreign relations seem to overcome our own streets. We all know about gangs and gang violence, and it affects all of our lives, directly or indirectly, in some way or another. We hear about shootings and gang rapes on the news not uncommonly.
Most police are horrible. Most that I've seen around my part of town are chubby, let things slide, and often don't try hard enough. I think this is the same everywhere. I know for a fact that if the police wanted to, they could track down all gangsters and get them. I mean, look for colors, tattoos, bandana's, etc. It's all obvious. I've seen the stereotypes, and every one of them weren't just a stereotype. If they're wearing red, they're a Blood. Blue, Crip. It's that simple. And if the cops are scared of 'finding the wrong person,' I'm sure 86% of gangsters would dip out of their hold if they same cops coming up to their door.
There's your sign! BING BING!!! Guilty...
So why can't we send the army through streets? Too expensive? Hm, dwelling on the thought of expenses, I'd think that the national government cared more about the economy than the security. During the 2000 stock market crash till 2002 when it was back up, there were 256 homicide killings in LA. And that was just in LA. I could find stats like that for the East Coast or the rest of the West coast. But, if you ask me, that's a lot. Too much over the worry of loosing $200 every $1000. Sure it adds up, but most people can afford to loose money like that if they're buying stocks.
I just don't get how we can practically correct another country with force, but overlook our own streets in chaos practically. What are a couple of gangsters that wish they could fight, think they're tough with a nine against fully trained troops?
Yeah, and another thing. What kind of crap is the government looking over when a gangster enrolls in the army, tags all over Iraq and comes home after his service and goes back to the streets, fully trained with his own weapons and basically rules his territory? Pleeaaasssse tell me why there are pictures and no one gets caught for it...
Well, there's my rant on gangs...
