A conversation with a great friend

I was talking to one of my best friends one day and I told her that i was stuck in the middle of the ocean with no paddle. Now she is a very intelligent person but she asked me what that meant, I told her that it meant that I made some choices and I'm basically stuck for a little while. And then i repeated being stuck in the middle of the ocean with no paddle. And being the bright inteligent person she is, she told me to paddle back with my hands, and i asked her where do i paddle too. She told me "paddle home." Such a simple answer with a profound meaning! I need to go back were I started from. People that i've grew up, they always told me that home is were the heart is. "Paddle home" has so many different meanings to it, you could tie it to a relationshiip, you could tie it to christianity, you could tie it to your education, and so on and so forth. I'm going through alot right now, being a senior trying to find money for college while maintaining good grades is hard enough, on top of that I have basketball practice, and don't forget to mention a girlfriend. I feel like i have no free time to myself, I want to go outside sometimes and just yell... but all i really have to do is just tell myself to keep on going and paddle home. =D

I know my first blog isn't much but im just getting started, this is fun...byeeee

i understand what your saying about being stressed im only a junior and i have a lot going on though. your friend is right though another thing that ive learned through life especiallly when ive gone through some of my worst time is, things are always better in the end and if its not better its not the end. Everytime you start to feel stuck just think of that, its what i do and its shines light on things. i hope things work out for you.

I understand what you are going through.I feel like there is not enough time in a day and I feel as though i never have time for myself. Just realise that for every bad thing comes with a good thing. I wrote a blog on this and it helped me deal with issues I used to have. Your friend is right. Try to take everything one day at a time. It will get better.
