A day of Silence, A day of hate, A day WASTED

For the past 4 years there has been in noticably increasing number of participants in the Day of Silence a day, when those who are different speak out, the opposed scream twice as loud--right? Well, my question to you all is, how is it effective? Students participate to make a statement-that I understand, but each year they go by unnoticed. With the notepad you have seen them in the halls showing people they refuse to talk, and others bullying them to make them talk. How is this the answer? The constant battle between homosexuals and "Homophobes" is at its tipping point. When the tension builds there is bound to be a blood bath. Forcing people to notice isn't the answer, nor is passive aggressiveness. There needs to be a peaceful compramise between the two.

The most disappointing, and harsh reality of it all is, as the generations come so does acceptence, and it is the children having to teach the adults how to be mature and act like adults. In a world where there are so many bigger problems than who a man or woman chooses to love why is so much energy wasted on who to hate. the "Homophobes" slander the homosexuals, the Homosexuals slam the "Homophobes" with hate crimes. When are the adults going to stop acting like children so the next generation can work together and see every human as a man or a woman, not as a straight man or a bisexual woman, or a gay man, and fight the real problems of the world.

Real problems? Homosexuality is the cause of the 'real problems'.

Global warming: God is getting mad because of gays being happy
Darfur: (see above)
Terrorism: mostly financed by rich gays trying to take heat off of themselves
Illiteracy and Starvation: more of the same

I think homosexuality also just caused me to bang my head against a wall repeatedly.

No wait, the blame goes to this comment. :-&
