I was reading my 17 magazine today & there was a story about a 15 year old girl... who did the normal online chatting thing. A part of the story was that she knew how to read people out and tell if they were bad. She claimed to have blocked the "creeper" type people... the one's who gave her inconsistent information or who asked perverted questions...She had 350 people blocked... [how pathetic]
So the girl was in a relationship but because of distance, it didn't work out. She claimed to have loved the guy and her first time having sex was with him. [My opinion on sex and love and all that is a totally different blog] But anyway, after they broke up she continued chatting with people...
One guy caught her attentiob/c he was interested in things she was interested in AND he didn't ask anything about her expect her height. Also, he lived in the next town or close to her...So [like an idiot] she invited him over that night to watch TV.
He came over & she introduced him to her sister..then they went to the basement to watch TV. Instead, he started kissing her and she thought it'd be awkward to stop him so she kept on. He pulled her pants down and had sex with her. After having an orgasm...he silently left.
Again, not wanting things to be awkard--- she called him over. The 2nd time he did the same thing but took it to another level. He asked if she knew if her sister was "tight" and if she wanted him to find out. This time she was freaked out and told him to leave immediately.
A few days or weeks later...she threw up and called her mom to tell her she was sick. Her mom told her she knew she was having sex and asked if she was pregnant. The girl didn't know but that night after taking a test, found out that she was...
This is only one case...there are probably so many more where kids are getting molested, abused, raped, and like in this case...pregnant. I think it's so sad that something so "innocent" [that's how the kids feel at the time] can turn into something so disasterous. In no way am I saying it was all his fault...she should have known better than to invite a complete stranger over.
Basically, just be careful in who you talk to...in real life as well as on the online world.
