Living in a dorm you become friends with many different people from many different places. It is convenient to most everything on campus. Which means that you do not have to get up very early to get to class. I once had a class at 8am and got up at 7:45 and still made it to class on time with out wearing my pajamas and having no bad breath. I love dorm life! I even have a great roommate(a rarity in dorm living). I recently found out that there students 32 and 40 in our dorm. This does not freak me out, but it got me to thinking. I am no spring chicken, I am in my early 20’s. I have always thought that if I was still in school I would live in the dorm until the age of 26 at most. How old is too old to live in a dorm?

Ok...when you state that you're no spring chicken and you're in your early 20's I start worrying. I mean...that means that at 17 I'm quickly approaching the age of the elderly...uh oh...
I totally blame the above on the fact I haven't slept for over 48 hours. Now to be serious...I can't really see a set age that would be too old to live in a dorm. I know that around 30 I'd be feeling a bit old and move into an apartment just to feel young again, but if it floats their boat...then whatever. :)
I just feel old.
After about 28 I would move into an appartment because to me a dorm is for young people. If you live in a dorm, you have to share a room with a stranger and share a bathroom with nasty people. By then I would want some privacy.
this is an interesting conversation.
i think i would be a little creeped out by a 40 year old living in my dorm.... but hey! who knows. if they're not weird, and they're cool it would be like living with anyone else... but personally, i wouldn't live in a dorm after undergrad.
Well, the housing at some medical schools is dormitory style rooms. And you have people that are well into their 20's starting medical school...

i think it's all relative to the school environment. But I would feel a little funny living around a bunch of 18 year olds who are looking for somebody to buy them booze even now and I'm only 21. But whatever you're into I guess.
If their soul is that of a 20-year-old, no problem.
Otherwise? Weird.
