Forgive me Father, for I have sinned

I find it amazing how people will say being a women is a sin.  Im sorry if I don't believe that someone is above me because they have a penis.  I have heard many men in the south saying things like, "Working women are only taking jobs away from men,  or "Women don't have the thinking ability like a man, therefore they should stay home all day and take care of babies and wash dishes and make pies."

I am not an extreme feminist.  I am not saying the male species is "bringing me down."  All I am saying is that I, as a women, DO NOT have to put up with this type of behavior from men.  Women should not be looked down upon, or frowned upon.  We are not weak.  We are not unintelligent.  We are not fagile.  We just want to be treated as human, not dogs.

Another reminder for all those men who think that Women should not be working.....Try supporting a family now a days on a salary of "the working class."  With only the man working, it is nearly impossible to pay rent/morgage, car payments, food, ulities, gas, etc.

Do not demoralize women to justify your own laziness for not getting a job.  If you look you will find.

Oh yeah, I also wanted to randomly say that I had this whole converstation with some guy while talking about Hilary Clinton.  Hillary is actually leading the '08 pack while Kerry falls behind.  I really dislike Hillary, and I am not sure why people support her, but anyways....that guy made a remark about her, and even if I don't support her, men should not talk to or about women like that.  Shows very little confidence that they have in themselves.  To me that is.

Being women is not a sin, but feminism can hurt women more than it helps them. Forgive me, I'm a bit disoriented to elaborate.

Feminism can hurt women more than it helps them?

Excuse me but feminism is what got women suffrage, places in universities, and jobs. If you think that hurts women, I don't know what to think of the world anymore.

I think the big issue with feminism now is that many people, even women, think that they are going to far. Feminist groups and religious groups DO NOT coincide. I am definately not saying that if you are a Feminist that you are a crazy liberal that doesn't believe in God. Totally not the fact.

I believe that feminist did get us jobs, rights, and school among other things. But from every angle we see most feminist screaming victimology. They say that female students are not getting good grades on the federal testing because the teachers favor men. But if you look at the testing females are well over men in English and History, and not far behind men at all in math and science. How come we never hear about the gap that male students are not filling. Has our country shyed itself away from educating males and giving them a fair education because we are too woried about the female's? Maybe, Maybe not. Just a question to throw out there.

I believe that women rights groups and Feminist groups are different. I suppost womens rights to be equal. I just see so many feminist now a day that just want to be treated more than equal. They want to be above men. I can't support that. If that were true, than these women are doing the same thing to men as they did to us. You understand where I am comming from.

But I totally support others opinions. WTG for supporting your rights as a women :) Being independent is really important in today's world. You can't get far without it!

I think that's pretty much it.
