The History of a Diamond

A History of a Diamond

What first lies on the outside
Of a cold Hard Stone
Is black, hard, and rough
Unrefined and Untouched
Nothing more than an eye sore

Take that one rock
Separate it from everything else
Strike it
Apply Pressure
Apply Force
Apply Destruction
Than what you see
Begins to shine

Now that you've seen it
A simple glimpse
Of Brilliance
Continue
Keep breaking it too
Don't give up
Go on
No matter what
The Devastation maybe

Take a look and see
Through all the
Pain
Sorrow
Destruction
Depression
All of the
events
times
And Trials
The rough rock
The Black burden
The Cold Coal
Has become
A Diamond
Shining brightly
Beautiful
Magnificent

People need to have more faith in others. I like your analogy, or at least in my interpretation.

I like this very much.

I liked this blog; not only because I like diamonds, but I think that what we can learn from this blog is to keep working extremely hard, even though we might have received an A on a test or quiz.
