Ok so here are some statistics from the UNFPA- the United Nations Population Fund:
Women who marry younger are more likely to be beaten or threatened, and more likely to believe that a husband might sometimes be justified in beating his wife.
India has the highest levels of domestic violence among women married by 18.
The attachment, which is a chart, shows that in every country listed, women married by 18 experience more violence.
Also, I saw this in a BBC article:
In Egypt, studies show that 29% of young brides have been beaten by their husband or other relatives.
With violence also comes forced sexual acts which can cause pregnancy.
Pregnancy-related deaths are the leading cause of mortality for girls aged 15 to 19 worldwide.

pOOR KIDS. The should get married when they are smart enough
Yeah I cant even imagine having to live in that type of culture.
One of my best friends got married when she was 17. She is now 22 and has 2 children. Her and her Husband get along great, with no ABUSE or violence. They are actually a very peaceful family.
