I usually get a lot of forwarded e-mails. About a year ago I got an email about the droughts in Africa and the shortage of food. It had a lot of photographs of skinny children in it. I had seen most of them before and they did not bother me so much. I was scrolling down when I saw a picture of naked skiny boy, not more than 10 years old eating the feces straight from a cow. I was so disturbed that I deleted that file immediately without seeing the rest of the photographs. I still hven't had the courage to see those photographs again. I know I can google it and I will get a thousand pictures but I don't think I can look at it. I wich I could do something to change it. I know I can donate money but I wonder how much of it would really even get accross the African border. Moreover, money would only be a temporary solution to this reoccuring problem in Africa. There needs to be a change in infrastructure to get a permanent solution and I don't feel I have a voice in that.
