Well I didn't get any comments on my last blog post and I only got a couple
of reads so I've decided to go into a more open discussion.
Violence. I mean, we see it in the news all the time. And at the same
time, no matter how horrible it is, it just DOESN'T stop. I find it
UNBELIEVEABLE too.
I go to High School and I've seen 2 fights in my life, one with 2 guys and
one with 2 girls. They aren't the best things to see. But it still makes no
sense to me. Some people walk around with an attitude, you give them a dirty
look and it's all down hill from there. They think they're better than everyone
else. Everyone should be treated equally and in the real world, some people are
allowed to think they're better than everyone, maybe because of economic
situations. But especially in a high school in a town that isn't well known, no
one is better than anyone.
I get annoyed sometimes at school, when people stand in the middle of a busy
hallway, or when people are obnoxiously loud, but especially when people fight
over stupid things. Seriously, if someone gives you a dirty look, shrug it off
but no, at school, they'll get in your face and start something.
So what if not everyone likes you, at least the people who don't like you know
you exist, they're just jealous, (or they think you're extremely annoying. If
people talk about you, laugh at it. It's funny.
I remember one night, when I was watching the news, they were showing a
video that was on youtube about a group of girls beating up this one girl. As I
was watching it, I got goosebumps all over because just the site of how vicious
these girls were, made me completely sick to my stomach. I hate violence and
people seriously don't think about the consequences in the midst of gathering a
group of friends to plan out when they're going to mess up the one who defied
them.
Or the other day, I got a friend request on myspace and I looked at the
person's page and they had a video linked to youtube showing his girlfriend
beating up another girl and I was disgusted. The comments said: "That's my
girl! and things encouraging a more violent action. I not only commented
the video about they're immature behavior but I also reported it to youtube and
I hope it gets removed.
What does everyone think?
