Ok, this could cover a lot. Lots of Topics. But let's just go with SEXUAL PURITY for this blog. Sexual purity is waiting to be sexually active until marriage. You may have seen people wear purity rings or go to True Love Waits rallies. I believe in sexual purity. I am a Christian and the Bible makes it clear that 1-God created sex 2-Sex is good 3- Sex was created to happen in the context of marriage 4-Sex was meant to be between a man and a woman. I am waiting for the one guy God has waiting for me to have sex with, once we're married. some people get the idea that people are trying to tell them sex is bad. it is, outside of marriage. waiting will reap more benefits than giving your most precious physical gift to several people, or whoever you feel like. But i didn't mean to start preaching. what i want to know is what everyone else thinks about sexual purity? Support it? Wish you could, but kinda late? think its dumb? Is waiting better? Do you think its worth the wait? I trust God that it is. Do you agree that it's a gift set for a certain time or a pleasure that can be tapped into whenever....?

The thing about losing your virginity is you fall so deeply in the emotion I'm so oft told is love with the person that takes it. Waiting untill your married to have sex adds such a strong bond with that person that I sometimes cringe at the thought that mine was taken in a drunken mistake.
hm. well, you can try "renewed virginity" and not give in again until marriage...
I have not had intercourse for five years. Not for lack of opportunity, I just don't like how it works in my town. When a girl wants to have sex they say they want to drink (usually) so they get a guy to get booze invite the guy they want to have sex with, or just with the best canadit nearby. It's almost like animals and is slightly disgusting. Since I was drunk for my first I want to have an actual meaningful experiance with it, and these fool girls trying to alleiviate the unnessicary guilt they feel at having sex by claiming it was the booze are not the ones I want.
Not that I'm desirable, per-say, but it is just not appealing to me.
The really hilarious part about that is that the kids who get purity rings, etc, actually ususually have early and unsafe sex at a higher rate than kids who don't.
I have a few questions.
If God only means for you to have sex with one person, what happens if you're spouse dies? Are you not supposed to remarry?
You said that sexual purity means not having sex until marriage. So then all other forms of physical intimacy are acceptable, just not vaginal sex?

Maybe it will get better. But there's a difference between a person needing practice (because sex does take practice) and a person having a ton of hang-ups about sex that they can't get over. Usually the second type of people can be helped by therapy. Unless their hang-ups are tied up with their religion. That makes their issues pretty hard to fix. For example, someone who believes that God only made sex for procreation, so therefore sex isn't for fun and shouldn't be enjoyed for its own sake. That's pretty hard to fix when its rooted in their religious beliefs.
