Most of us has heard it from time to time
And even though it may sit at the back of our mind
Now when it's said it becomes redundant
But it makes it no less true
No good deed goes unpunished
But what do we do?
We continue to help those who are helpless
Then cover it up in attempts to be selfless
But it still remains stained on the surface
It all will make sense it seems
But at the end of the day your try was worthless
But what does it all mean?
You can't help someone that is not willing to help themselves
No matter how sincere their call for help
They must rely to depend on self
Then in turn they will know you can't depend on anybody else
That's the best thing you can do
Knowledge is the best wealth
And what may happen to you?
You began to take problems on that are not not your own
While forgetting to take care of your home
Before you know it you're all alone
The person you are helping is now gone
You will sit and ask yourself why have I done this?
Because
No good deed goes unpunished
I was just thinking about when you try so hard to help others most times it ends up comming back to hunt you. I just decided to put my thoughts in a poem.
Now don't get me wrong I believe that people should try to help each other, but only if that person is really is deserving of help.

sometimes we help people to strictly help ourselves. we help them cause we know later down the line we are going to feel guilty for not helping. so we would rather help them now and not feel guilty later.
