Many of you are blogging for a chance for scholarship money. Here's another chance to earn some cash for college just by writing. The progressive news and opinion magazine The Nation is sponsoring a student writing contest; the winner gets $500 and their article gets published in the magazine.

There might seem like a dumb

There might seem like a dumb question, but it one that I know is on everyone's mind, and had previously been asked of me from another user how to determine. Is there a way we can get a leaderboard update for the Blogging for Progress Contest. If not, then okay. Im not asking because I expect myself to be on there necessarily, but because I am truly interested (everyone knows who is in first place anyway, but its fun to try and guess the others). Maybe there could be one on the first day of each month? Just an idea.

Thanks for taking time to consider my request, whether you disagree with it or not.

It's not a dumb question, and I totally agree with the suggestion. We're working on it. Unfortunately, database expert techie types are notoriously overworked and behind schedule.

We will have a leaderboard update *real soon now*. The first of each month would be a good goal to shoot for.

I have another question! sorry! ever since you have changed servers the time posting on my updates is way off. It says I posted at almost 7 pm when its really almost one! What in the world? Is that something I need to go in and change somewhere on my user info? change the time zone?

Also, have you noticed that a lot off comments were by some home equity loans thing? Weird. Anyway, any time I went to chekc comments therre for like 3 days they all read that same thing.

I'm still around, and actively reading what people write; I just haven't had time to write anything myself lately.

I noticed the clock thing too. We'll get that fixed.

Is there any way to filter what other people write on my blog posts? I keep my posts clean and I would like to have the posts on my blogs clean so that anyone can read my opinions without being offended by language. Also, I was checking my track thing and it said that I have been on some posts in the past few days that I have been on only once and that was weeks ago.
