Karma. If there was a religion solely based on Karma, that would be for me. Karma is an amazing thing. I believe that I am a good driver. I use my blinker, I merge properly, I don't brake abruptly, and I don't text. Now you may think what I am about to tell you is just coincidence, but I would like to believe differently. Everytime I go into a parking lot of some sort, I get a parking spot right in the front of the store, restaurant, school etc. To me that is Karma. I really believe what we do can come back and reward us or it can punish us. I take this very seriously, and wonder if others do too. Other peoples Karma is apparent too. Hillary has been rather negative lately in the campaign, and what happened? She lost her momentum. Barack Obama has passed her in just about every subcategory (white males, females, african-americans, young, old etc) and she is now losing. Is this Karma working at its best? I would love to believe so. Karma has an amazing effect on your life, and if you do good it will come back. So as I previously stated, if Karma was a religion I would be a huge advocat. It is sad that in times like these, people like me don't have some sort of group to be a part of, not like a club or fraternity. But something of a religion, where everybody has the same views on life.

Do you actually believe that karma works, and if so, how? I'm not one for the "cosmic balance" stuff, but I'd be interested to hear your explanation. I am a firm believer in karma in the sense of "do the right thing" and "what goes around, comes around." I think really, karma is more about people doing good things and being happier with themselves, and thus being more optomistic and seeing the good in life, or the whole other way around.
It really is unexplainable, and thats the best part. You do things according to the possibility of a reward. It is a belief. And yes, what goes around comes around, that is Karma in a less deep sense. You do kind things for somebody they might do it back. The thing though is that when you believe in Karma, you don't get mad if that person doesn't do anything nice back, you know it will come back to you eventually, just not at that moment or from that person. It is completely relying on faith and belief, no history or bibles or anything. Just faith. :]
Karma is a great thing. I also believe in it. I also would rather do good to everyone than hurt someone. I guess it is just in my nature though. I also believe in the positive negative idea. If you think positive good things normally happen. If you think negative all the time bad things normally happen because you expect them. I guess this is sorta a form of Karma.
