I sat with my head down on the steering wheel in the middle of the road. "Why does this happen to me?" The man stepped outside his car and turning to me said, "I know it's a junky car, but I wanted to keep it alive for a while. Why did you have to hit it?" I was almost brought to tears.
Let's start at the beginning. This morning I tore myself out of bed to get ready for work. From the moment I stepped on the floor to this evening, my whole day was one disaster after another. I forgot it was my mom's birthday and started yelling at her. Then as I'm heading out the door to go to work, I lost my cell phone causing me to be late for work. Once I got to work, my boss wasn't there and I had to handle the phone calls by myself. ( I just started work there this week.) I called one lady to talk to her about money that she owed us. let's say she wasn't too happy and started screaming at me. It was the longest three minutes and thirty six seconds of my life.
After I left that job, I went to another where my day calmed down. It was actually fun. It was there that I received a text from my friend saying she was having a few people over to hang out. When I got home I asked my mom if I could go. She said no problem, but that she had an errand to run. After her short errand, which was an hour, I started on my way to my friend's house.
As I turned off the highway, I headed into the left lane. Once I was there, I realized that everyone in front of me was going to the left, so I needed to go to the right lane. I put on my blinker, cheked my mirrors, and headed into the right lane. *SMASH* I hit a small, white car. I sat there in shock and the man told me to reverse. As I reversed, I felt my car rubbing against his. It was making the dent bigger. I was finally off his car when he got out and started screaming at me. We decided to pull into a parking lot and exchange information. I tried calling my parents several times, but no one picked up. I was left alone.
He called the cops and explained and they arrived a few minutes later. i gave them my information when my best friend texted me to ask if I wanted her to come. I said yes. In the meantime the guy constantly complained about his dent, which was barely visible if you weren't looking for it. He then started to say that his steering wheel was acting funny. So, I believe that I'm going to have to pay for that. I have a feeling that it didn't work before I hit him.
I couldn't have picked a worse person to hit. This man was so rude to me the whole time. Yes, you should be upset that your car was hit, but you don't need to scream at the person. I felt terrible. He asked me when I started driving and then said "Oh so your a kid." He couldn't tell? How ignorant. He called up his family to tell them and was bad mouthing me the whole time he was on the phone.
This whole thing could have been avoided. I should of just stayed in the left lane. But he could have seen me moving and slowed down.
This was such a bad day for me.

I was so incredibly enthralled by yer heartache that I looked up for a corny one-liner wisdom on google. It's surprising how beautiful this is.

"Lost yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset,
two golden hours, each set with 60 diamond minutes.
No reward is offered, for they are gone forever."
