Is it just me or are others here sick and tired of all the scandals mysteriously popping up a few weeks before the mid-term elections? One week it's oh this guy has admitted to talking sexually to pages in the page program, 3 years ago, and the next everyone is like, 'Oh yeah, we so suspected that', well, if people knew about it when it was first happening they should have said something then, not now. There is also a rising scandal in the gubernatorial race in Nevada. Supposedly one of the canidates was walking an intoxicated women to her car one night, as a good deed he said, and now she is claiming that he sexually assulted her. This leaves our fair state to consider the following questions: If she was drunk, why did he walk her to car instead of calling her a cab?, Why did he put himself in a position that he knew could have dire affects to his canidacy? and finally, What really happened in that garage? The police have released the surveilence tapes of that night, but you don't really see anything except the walls that the cameras are pointing at. So, really, I think the matter at hand here is, who is lying? This seems to be the new trend in politics. Uncovering scandals right before elections seems to be about as low as you can go in order for another candidate to win. In my opinion, anyone who bashes their running mate in an election should be automatically disqualified, but I guess that's just me trying to live in my fantasy world.
