Good evening all current users and subscribers to Progressive U.org, my name is Citizen Ape and hopefully this first post ensures future publications of merit and genuine human enjoyment. I thought perhaps it would in my best interests as a late-coming member of this online community to introduce myself "formally" and eliminate any pretense as to what content my personal blog feature in coming days.
As a young man I've developed, through a profoundly confused adolescence, quite a vulgar vocabulary and generally "low-brow" sense of humor, of which I feel absolutely no shame or need to compensate for, but do hope that in order to maintain the publicly projected sense of integrity of the Progressive U cause and community I might still retain my personal voice as a writer/blogger/human being and reflective honesty in my ethics and values. I in no way wish to simply forward a publicized facade over the internet for the sake of higher moral standards but rather hope to utilize this forum as a truthful mode of self-expression by which to advocate the intellectual capacities of this nation's youth and to connect with others who feel as passionately on various subjects as I.
