When I open the newspaper everyday, it warms my heart to see headlines like "Hillary launches attack on Obama", or, "Obama defends against withering attacks". I LOVE seeing those two tear each other apart. I LOVE seeing the Democrat Party be so passionate about choosing their candidate rather than being passionate about winning the general election. Why do I love these things so much? For a big reason: all this fighting over the Democratic nominee will blind them to the November election, while the Republicans, hopefully, can continue to present a united front.
The Republicans couldn't have done it better. They give their attention to the front runner, and prepare the public for the general election. The candidate is all but decided, and McCain can now focus on gaining votes. Obama and Hillary look like they will battle it out all the way to convention, even if Obama keeps on his win streak. You all know that Hillary will never drop out. She arrogantly thinks she is entitled to the nomination. Their supporters will fight. And fight. And fight. And, I can only hope that when the convention comes around, and one of those two is nominated, that the candidate that is defeated will be so embittered by the loss. I hope the loser will suck votes away from the candidate, handing the Republicans an easy win.
Until then, Hillary, Barrack, keep slugging.

Barrack All the way to the white house. Hilary is a good candidate but she wouldnt last long. People in the deep south HATE her. Being a woman in the white house would be overwhelming with the rest of the nation looking up to you. The nation is not ready for a woman to be in the white house. It would be dangerous for her to be in the white house. Not for the nation. But for her. I love Hilary and her ideas its just not what we are looking for right now.
As I said. Keep fighting her. Make her feel bad. Make her supporters not go for Obama. Please. So the Republicans can win. Thank you.
I agree with everything you said except for one thing: that Hillary will continue to battle it out until the convention if she doesn't win Texas and Ohio. I believe that if she continues to run her campaign in such a situation it would really tarnish her reputation in the eyes of Democrats, and for the Clintons, reputation is almost everything. In order to save face, just like Giuliani before what would have been a huge defeat in New York, I figure she'll probably get out some point not too long after Texas and Ohio if Obama wins those states in order to save face and no longer stand in the way of the Democrat getting elected. However, say she wins Ohio and loses Texas, which is what my money is on right now, I think she'll probably continue on through Pennsylvania.
But with Hillary Clinton, who knows what she'll do?

will not win the election. McCain is continuing the failing policies of Bush and that just wont work in 2008.
Maybe you should read his positions a little bit more. You're probably referring to his decision to stay in Iraq and his promises of permanent tax cuts. But there are plenty of things he would change. You just don't read them.
To everything else, this was a serious blog. I really hope those two fight it out, and make the battle more bitter.
Well, I can't say I like McCain. And, I've got a few standard reasons. Anti-war. Pro Choice. Pro-Same Sex Marriage. I don't much care for Hillary or Obama either. I'm currently in a libertarian phase, so the reasons are obvious. I'd pick one of them over McCain though, seeing as, economically speaking, he's not much better.
I prefer Obama. Why? He said that he is willing to talk to our enemies. I like that.
