I was reading my Chicago Tribune today and on the front page they had this article.
It was about the time moms spend with there kids. Basically even though moms are working more now then they have in the past they are actually spending more time with there kids. The trade off though is that they don't get as much time to themselves. Which I don't think is a terrible thing if you get to spend more time with your childern then I'm guessing that price is worth it. The sad part is though that most of these mom feel they don't spend enough time with their children.
It also says Dads are spending more time with there children then they have been in the past. This does not suprise me one bit. There is definately more of a trend for dads to stay home or be more involved in there kids lives.
This article gives me hope though because I'm one of those girls who want it all. The career and the family and sometimes I wonder if I can do it or not.
Opinions? thoughts? ideas? I'd love to hear what you think.
