Well, I've been in contact with Art, and he's given us a category (which he says, over the summer, he will turn into a group). The idea of the group (or my conception of it, anyway) is to offer constructive criticism for the blogging community on Blog Method. Some of you (myself included) have already taken the initiative to do just that, and I am eager to see this trend continue.
However, because this is a community, I think it would be best if we tried to keep things more general. That is to say, for the sake of community, we should make the effort (despite how tempting it may be) to keep things generally anonymous. By that I mean, don't point out particular bloggers or particular blogs. Granted, some (or most) of us will know what or whom you're talking about. That's fine. It would just be nice for bloggers to be able to realise "hey, I do that," and correct themselves, rather than have them get the impression that we're just picking on them.
So, if you have a blog about good blogging, just put it under the Coalition Against Bad Blogging category under the Groups Topics & Campaigns category. Also, should you see an entry that applies well to a certain blogger or blog, feel free to (KINDLY) refer the blogger.
Happy blogging!

Awesome! I'm glad something was done about this.
The bad blog posts haven't really bothered me. This is true indeed to the extent that I am completely cold to those who can't write. When I find them, my little cursor skips capriciously and immediately to the 'close tab' button, and the offensive post never again enters my mind. Indeed, I would hardly consider a coalition against such execrations, would not consider extending any mental effort towards helping the infants up a pitiful step, would not consider them.
The best way to combat bad bloggers would be to ignore their bland blatherings and praise to highest earths the ones of incisive thought.
I heard a casual remark on the radio the other day: "[sweetly, suffocatingly] 'tis better to light another candle than to curse the darkness!'"
"Screw that!" I roared. I curse the darkness with such a malevolent brightness as to blind them all!

EDIT: What happened to the subject lines for comments?! I liked being able to mess with them. if one had appeared, I would've put 'screw the darkness!' or something similarly unimaginative.
This coalition should be formed , what we should do is fight aganist troll blogging, spam blogging, and nonsensical advertisements that are submitted on blogs. Stopping the spammers and trolls should be a bit easier than stopping the advertisements, this coaltion should be made up of every affilation on Progressive U. To stop the spam bloggers who just steal articles we have to create more circulation in the popular content box, as well the recent blog area. Solely ignoring them hasnt worked.
Then use the category and write a blog!

So what really is the purpose of this coalition? I wrote a couple blogs on bad blogging back in the days, but even then I knew they were not going to change anything. They did make me feel superior in one way or another, though.
I suppose, more than anything, for us to vent & have a category where we can post it.
