Why does her gender matter? What is it exactly that women before us have fought for, if not for equality regardless of gender? Women, wake up!! Your mind is not different from a man's! Men, get your head out of her crotch and look at her face, seriously, she is a human being! It sickens me to see how women are still so degraded in media, in movies, in commercials - it is still being taught that women are sex objects, and those that are not are worthless.
Alice Paul and Lucy Burns fought the good fight - actually suffered - so that women could vote, not because they are women, but because they are citizens. CITIZENS, people, it has nothing to do with their anatomy.
I'm going crazy over here, listening to the ignorance of the ages. Men are not good leaders because they are men. Certain men are good leaders because they are good leaders, just as certain women are good leaders because they are just good at it. Some women are gentle, and some are hard. The same goes with men. So why must we continue to look at the content of one's crotch rather than the content of one's character and ability?
What is it that you think women have fought for, for equal treatment in the work place, for equal pay, for suffrage, for domestic violence laws?? WHAT??? I am so tired of having this fight. It should not be a fight.
I am person first, I am a woman second. So what's the problem here? Will you judge me for it? Will you brush this off as another tyrade by some crazy lady?? Whatever. You don't even know how much you lose by believing such sickening fallacies as the dominant male joke.
