Ok so at dinner me and a few friends while after talking about Shelbys Sex life we got on to the conversation about normal not normal to poeple. When I grew up noraml was yelling to get your point accross, the kids are to do there chores get good grades not do anything wrong until you hit about 15 when you say Screw it to the world, atleast thats kinda how all four of us kids turned out, So Shelby was saying how she had stayed with a family member at one point who yelled and threw things etc, and how it wasnt normal and I was saying how who are we to decide whats normal or not, that would have been normal in my family. yet for her VERY abnormal, so it got me thinking who the hell decides whose normal, i mean my normal is tattoos, bright colors, coffee and my bosses normal is time with fiance, watching movies and coffee too. I mean it just makes you think...

I honestly don't think there is a "normal" when it comes to family structure and interaction.
I grew up with both parents living in the same house who loved each other and fights between them were a rare thing. That was normal for me, but most of my friends lived at one of their parents houses and visited their other parent occasionally. One friend in particular lived with 'two mothers' for want of a better term.
So honestly there is no "normal" and we shouldn't try to box people into this artificial "normality" or "abnormality", I think that is counter productive. After all it isn't really what their home life as a child was like, it is what they themselves do within their life that is important.
